This past Saturday, Community Suds hosted a fundraising event at The Goldfinch Garden in San Diego, CA. Our Paint and Plant event was an intimate gathering that blended community and creativity. Attendees had the opportunity exercise their artistic muscles by painting terracotta pots, followed by picking a fun succulent to plant into their pots.
This fundraising event was Community Suds' introduction into the Southern California area. Its purpose was to connect with the community, rally support behind our mission, and to raise funds for our Suds Essential Program.
Event Impact:
· The Suds Essential program was 20% funded
· Established new community partnership
· Added volunteers to the organization
